History
文書資料は地味で、とっつきにくい印象がありますが、歴史を伝えるものとしては他に変わるべきものがないほどの情報量を持っています。国の公文書館法には「国及び地方公共団体は、歴史資料として重要な公文書等の保存及び利用に関し適切な措置を講ずる責務を有する」とあり、国及び地方公共団体には歴史資料として重要な公文書等（またそれに準ずる歴史資料としてのさまざまな文書）を保存し利用に供する責務を持っているのです。
全国歴史資料保存利用機関連絡協議会（通称：全史料協）はこうした文書記録を中心とする記録史料を保存し、利用に供している機関会員と、この会の目的に賛同して入会した個人会員で構成する全国団体で、1976年（昭和51年）に発足しました。
そのうち近畿での地域別協議会として準備会が1989年（平成元年）7月8日に発足し、正式の部会としては1993年（平成5年）5月20日に発足し、丸28年を迎えています。
