Description area
History
大阪商科大学に附置されて以来の長い歴史をもつ経済研究所（1928年7月）と、大阪市立大学百周年を記念して相次ぎ設立された都市問題資料センター（1981年9月）および証券研究センター（同年10月）を2006年4月の公立大学法人化にともない改組、ひらかれた拠点を目指すあらたな研究組織として開設された。2016年4月、経研文庫を学術情報総合センターに移管。2022年4月、都市防災教育研究センターと発展的に統合して大阪公立大学に発足。
