History
繊維労働組合の全国産業別組織。正式名称は、全国繊維産業労働組合同盟。1946年７月31日、総同盟準備会の産業別組織方針によって、結成された。その後、総評に参加したが、1952年12月、総評の指導方針を批判する４単産批判を行い、総評を離脱した。のちに全労会議に加わり、同盟の中核組合として活動した。（法政大学大原社会問題研究所『社会労働大事典』旬報社，2011,pp.491-492参照）
1954年6月、近江絹糸紡績労働組合は結成と同時に全繊同盟に加入し、その後、人権争議を経済的・人的に支援し、、指導的な役割を果たした。また、近江絹糸労働組合の分裂期前後の1958年～1960年には、組合にかわって団体交渉の主体となった。
